These kinds of questions and many more any engineer asks himself very often maybe on daily basis, so when they lose the passion and the target of what they do, they start to recharge their energy back by new challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For example, they joined a company and the goal was refactoring the project code base, after one year when they did the required job if they don\u2019t have another goal to do, then they are working for a non-making sense company, this is the main reason the developer will ask himself, what I\u2019m doing here?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I use the same tools&languages every day and the market requirements are much bigger now, I\u2019m afraid to be lost and my price between the other developers will be decreased because I\u2019m not using those trendy languages, this will be the first step to leaving the current company and start checking the other companies that use new technologies and of course that means better salary, talking about salary, this is the second \u201cmight be the first reason for some\u201d the salaries in the tech industry have no pattern, you may see junior has a salary bigger than a senior on other company, some times you see old technology but because of demand on developers they get higher from the normal average, so the more you can present your self the more you get, and that\u2019s the third reason for any developer want to leave his company because he feels he is underrated and non of his employees appreciates him, whatever he did, no matter how many hours he spent or the final quality he delivered, that being said, the main reasons all about having a passion, goal and appreciation, you can imagine how many people left the company because of a bad word from their managers.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
